Inaugural 5Y4WD Career Development Workshop

The Inaugural 5Y4WD Career Development Workshop took place on September 28, 2024, at the Gros Islet Human Resource Development Centre. Designed to equip young people with essential career skills, the event brought together an engaged audience primarily between the ages of 14 and 21, with the added inspiration of one attendee over 60 who joined in on the experience.

The workshop featured impactful presentations on key professional development topics, including dressing the part, preparing for interviews, and hands-on mock interview sessions where all participants had the opportunity to refine their skills. A highlight of the day was an interactive session with our esteemed professional panel, which included experienced executives from the banking, human resources, legal, digital marketing, and insurance industries. This engaging dialogue allowed attendees to gain firsthand insights, ask candid questions, and receive valuable advice on their career journeys.
